Hearse Con 2009

Had a dark day at the Hearse Con in Denver, Colorado.  Actually it was sunny and difficult to take pictures, which I have posted on my Facebook page.  The event is awesome with people from all over the country and Canada lining up their refurbished hearses.  Some are classic, some are kitschy.

It was unusual seeing goth people hanging in the sun.  Cheery people in black leather, studs and mohawks is odd to this Detroiter.   Last year the even was in April: rain, clouds, cold, and better goth weather.   The first weekend in June is always iffy, but this weekend proved to be nice for the bands and pin-up babes to entertain the crowds without the threat of nasty weather.   Keep this weekend in mind for Hearse Con 2010!
